For more than 2,000 years, pre-Colombian cultures produced entheosonic tools made of clay. These instruments emit sounds and subtle vibrations. This ‘yoga of sound’ opens a unique sensory field, a deep and beneficial experience of mind expansion.
The experience of blowing the whistling vessels is calming and regenerating… yet empowering!
They produce high-pitched sounds and subtle harmonics, and induce a sense of focus of the mind. The experience is simple and grounding. It opens up our body-senses field and intuitive abilities to the unification of the body and mind.
It is positive and unusual! Our modern, Western cultures have not developed such use of sounds. These are not musical instruments; they do not produce what we can call a melody. The experience ‘eases’ a sense of rest from the conceptual functions of the mind.
The tuning of the whistling vessels is such that we don’t hear music when they are blown, but rather, a ‘wind of sounds’ which ‘moves’ one to another realm of awareness.
As simple as these moments can be, it is difficult to describe such an experience. Nevertheless, my wish in the following pages is to briefly present these incredible instruments to You.
